Hi Carl! That was exactly what I wanted to ask.
I do not want to remove the Apple mark under the FDD slot,
and neither remove the FDD and place a slot-in CD-ROM drive.

How could I connect a external CD-ROM drive when I'm using a IDE HDD?
I think there has to be a SCSI HDD already connected to the CC or else
the starting point of the SCSI daisy chain won't exist.
