Subject: Weird logic board activity

This post is somewhat related to my last topic, "VGA Upgrade Problem." Upon booting a PowerCC from a 100MHz PPC 601 board, I would get junk pixels and pointer trails on the screen.

I have since tried a 75MHz PPC 601 board (from a Performa 6200) and it does not exhibit this problem. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is a defect in my 100MHz board (almost identical to the 75MHz board except for processor) or if there is some major difference in the video output between the two boards.

I also plan on trying a 180MHz 603e board from a PM 5400. I don't plan on using the PCI slots, so could I get away with not supplying the board with a 3.3v line? And would I also experience the video problem I get with the 100MHz board?

Thanks y'all!
