Yes,that's right.
Very thank you, Mr.Lawson.
You often helps me when I face to the difficulty with the foreign lamguage.

>the Daystar card's ROMs may only be able to deal with 16MB per bank in a SIMM, so a 32MB double-banked SIMM would be the only way to get 32MB in the Mac.

Yes, this is what I want to explain.
I didn't know the Sonnet's PPC upgrade card for LC 575.

----
It seems that LC575 memory controller can control 4 banks potentially.
But one of them is not used (there is no circuit for this).
The rest is 3.
#1 is used for on-board memory.
#2 & #3 are use by SIMM slot.

Logically, if someone modify address line, someone may be able to get 16(MB)*4(bank)=64MB with Daystar Power Card 601 66/80,100 (incl. Apple's) or Sonnet's.

Mr. Gabezing's (see another tree bellow here) was the good site to get the informations about this.
But his site often moves to another place.
These are the Japanese site to explain this.
(And to read Japanese page, please refer to the "Link" section of my web page. Please try.)
