What I accomplished is simply what you guys have already all accomplished with one important part to me...I didnt want to reformat my 1 gig drive.

I wanted to use the HD from the 575 WITHOUT reformatting it and thanks to the tip about the Network disk and hooking up the zip drive (which I went blank on thinking of), I did just that. I installed 7.1 on the zip and copied it over the HD that had 8.1 on it. I copied the enaber 065 and unblessed the 8.1 sys folder and blessed the 7.1 folder.

After installation into the CC along with the 575 MB, I know have what I call a "MysticSlice". A CC (code named "Slice") with a 68040, 36 megs or ram and a 1 gig drive, System Enabler v1.1 running at the original screen rez.

That MB hack will come later.

Now that I have put the CC board and drive into the 575 (just for the hell of it) I have problem. When I hit the keyboard power button, it blinks and turns off. Like I zapped the power supply or something on the MB. It wants to start but after a second it is off again. Any ideas.

J
