Get the guts... It is simple. Wiring the 630 connector is hell, but it's just tedious. The Part you are gonna be most afraid to do is making that first cut removing all the unnecesary plastic from the CC's Logicboard bay. It wasn't so bad for me, My first CC cost me a whole $22 to biuld. (I had a dead CC, a dead q630, and a ton if 72 pin ram. I got a 6200 logic board off ebay after the 630 board ran in it. The VGA mod is also simple.

My low point in my first CC's construction was when I was doing the 12v analog board mod, and broke the ball of solder off the board trying to get my wire to lay down. I sat there staring at it in dibelief.. There was no way I was going to be able to solder to that circuit trace. It dawned on me then... that every trace comes from somewhere, so I followed that trace accross the board to the next available solder point. First time I fired it up, It was dead.. did nothing. Then I realized my analog board was not pushed into the connector. Unbelievable, it chimed and fired up.

One problem I had with the 630 board, was that it wouldn't boot unless I had the external SCSI terminated. After I swapped the internal HDD for an IDE one, it gave me no trouble.
