I have a Color Classic 6400 project in the works right now. I have been (surprise!) experiencing the same boot up problem expressed in this thread. I also happen to have a functional Performa 6400 that my wife uses for her business. Is there any information that can be gleaned by testing that one? It has lost the ability to support PCI cards, but still boots fine. I can use my other 6400 motherboard interchangeably but it too will not run PCI when run inside th Performa 6400 case. This reaks of a porential power supply issue IMHO, but I can't afford a new power supply yet so I am not sure. By the way, I was able to boot my Color Classic 6400 from a floppy the first time I ran it. The mouse did not work so I issued a reboot command from the keyboard. It rebooted, but shut down in the middle of the boot chime. This is the same symptom I have each time I try to power it up now. I have installed a 3.3 V regulator and am running the HD off the analog board (switching it on via a relay). The 630 power supply runs the motherboard. Please suggest something so I can fool my wife into thinking the project is progressing. :)

Thanks,
