I see later in the thread you say that your daughter goes over your knee naked for 30 minutes with the hairbrush. That seems a little harsh to me, but if she gets breaks during that time...on the other hand, half an hour goes by pretty quickly. Just make sure that she isn't waiting you out; it would be a bad idea to do something like set a timer that she can hear or see go off.

A hairbrush is good. I prefer a wooden spoon or cane.
