This seems to be the best possible response in my opinion. No matter how exactly it’s done, the result has to be that the little one wants to avoid another spanking/punishment at all costs. Whether a toddler or teen…they have to fear it.

That’s always the goal with my little ones at least. Happy to talk anytime, especially to anyone with younger kiddos or strong opinions on how the 7 and under age group is best handled. Most parents seem to have older children on forums. Trillian: jessica_sullinger24
