No, no, no!! That poor little boy. You need to stop. You said he was abused by his parents, that is probably why he is still messing his pants. That boy need to be loved, held, and loved some more. I’m not saying diapers aren’t the right thing but your approach is horrible. When he has an accident you need to tell him it’s ok, for now anyway. Then lovingly clean him up. My son is 8 and has some minor disabilities but it has really made potty training difficult. He too still wets the bd every single night, we diaper him before bed and change him in the morning, but we do it with love not hate. He also still goes through some phases of day time accidents so when he is having a spell he wears either diapers or pull-ups during the day. He can’t help it. I really hope you will change your approach with your son. Explain that diapers aren’t for baby’s but for anyone that has accidents. And that you will be glad to help him with his till they clear up.
