Subject: women's game

big game for the women tonight against loyola, should prove exactly where the team is heading for the rest of the year. time to see whether they have shaken off the loses to these big times schools they are playing and get back into MAAC play. and unlike the previous threads i think that the fairfield women can contest for the top 1 or 2 spot in the maac still. There is A LOT of talent on these team, it just comes down to how the coach nolan uses it. she needs to find which players connect better, and clearly she hasn't done a good job. Great job for chartier coming off the bench scoring 22 pts against GW. mcmanus is also adding some scoring....but where are the post?!? i say put dash down there and play a 4 guard front now with hammerer out.

Is Hammerer out? Today's CT Post listed her as starting. I've heard or read nothing of her injury.

I agree with you as to tonight's game. We are still a strong possibility for 2nd or 3rd place. Only Siena seems out of range. I think tonight's game will go a long way in telling us how the season will play out.
