Subject: Women Win

Beat Loyola 71-67 in OT. Janelle McManus (23 pts) hit a 3-pointer with less than 10 secs. left in regulation to send game into OT, then she and Katherine Rusie each scored 6 points in OT. Rusie played very little during regulation, but then was inserted to start OT and made two consecutive 3 point plays (the old-fashioned way) to spark the Stags.(Good move by Coach Nolan!)
Don't know where this team would be without McManus; she is a level above everyone else.
A fun game to watch and a big win for the Stags.

I was listening to the game, and we got down 8 in the 2nd half. Thinking that we would not come back, I relinquished my computer to my daughter so she can do some instant messaging with her friends.

Ye of little Faith

Some good signs as Loyoya was 2-0 in the MAAC and has a good team. Like to see that Miljkovic and Dash, our 2 inside players, had solid games: Milly 10pts, 11rebs..... Dash 10pts, 8rebs. They play solid and our 3-guard offense can be very dangerous.

I am a Fairfield alumnus and a woman. I know FU women's bball may not be as FUN to watch as the men, but I find it personally offensive to say the comments that free_beer referred to. I read this page often and have not seen gender bias like that. Comments like that are just rude and offensive!!!!

I, along with many others on this Board are also Women's Hoops fans. If you are a Women's Hoop fan and were at the game last night, would love to hear any comments from people at the game.
