i didnt see tot at the games yesterday but there were a number of other coaches there.
dave magarity from marist.
jeff ruland from iona.
lou orr former siena coach now at seton hall.
tim welch from providence
john beilein from west virginia
syracuse assitant bernie fine whose son was the high scorer for cba
former siena player t j sheridan's son also plays for cba.

the mount vernon team looks awfully tough.
amityville has a bunch of quick players. if glens falls can play their sets they have a shot. if amityville gets the tempo they want it could be a blow out.
glens falls 5 seniors really play a great half court offense. they score quick off it using back picks and touch passes. might b a better offense than a lot of the maac teams use. contact tony hammel at glens falls for further details.
mike van schaick had 20 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists yesterday. he also had at least 5 steals and 2 blocks.
weight room and milk shakes needed.... going to be a terrific player for the stags.

dave magarity is one of the nicest men i have ever met. he always has a smile and a hello for everyone. he will also spend as much time chatting with fans as they want.
lou orr is also in that category.

mcquaid brought the most fans from outside glens falls. about 5 or 6 hundred.
the attendance was 6303. all maac teams should eat their hearts out.
cept of course for the saints.
i'd love to see mike beers have a huge year for the saints. would mean another 100 season tix sold at least.
pays to recruit locally even if the kid sits the bench..hey someone has to.
if we could continue to recruit at least one local kid a year siena would increase their attendance naturally.
a lot of fans get hooked on siena basketball after they go to see a local favorite.

there is an underlying reason that mike van schaick is going to fairfield..named rollie massimino.
rollie announced his retirement from cleveland state.
ur going to have to get the rest of the story from otoole.
he has some pretty good contacts.

the coaches think fairfield and siena will both be in the nit.
