but in Siena's case, they played those last 5 games over 20 days, the best (restful) stretch they had all year, including a week between a game on one occasion.............so they are certainly capable of sustaining any momentum over a perior of time between games. That being said, momentum is only what you brought to the table the last time out.......right now that is good for them.........but certainly no gimme at any point in Trenton, one bad game for any team and it's wait until next year!!!!!!!

I just said that that's GENERALLY what happens. There's no predicting how a layoff can affect a team, but considering the teams that were hot ending the season did nothing the past couple of years in the tournament, my point is valid.

now, with 6 teams playing 1 more game before the top 4 even lace them up...........creates a whole new variable for future tourney philosophies I guess...........of course, we can always fall back on the more prominent notion that this is the MAAC, "expect the un-expected"!!!!!!!!!

The 4 hottest teams going into he tournament are into the semi finals. Of course I do think its because the 4 hottest teams were simply more talented than the PIG teams. Don't you agree Guy?

I found Iona to be pretty darn talented, but all over the place offensively. I felt that there were 5 very competitive teams this year, and 4 are in the semis. Niagara, in my opinion, has a heckuva ballclub. They are bangers.
