Subject: Season ticket holder appreciation day

Great job by the university and the MAAC for Sunday's debacle. Regardless of the excuses, (money, travel problems, rescheduling, etc..) those games should never of been played. Once again FF and the MAAC show how "fan friendly" they really are. Does it take a van load of fans to die on I-95 to reconsider a cancellation in the future? Having this year's tournement in Jersey City is just another ridiculous example of MAAC ingenuity. What's next? A MAAC tournement down in Maryland? Why bother even buying season tickets when I can buy a cheaper seat at the door and still seat wherever I choose. This way I don't risk being screwed like I was yesterday. Once again, nice going FF...great job MAAC. It's no wonder this league is what is is. A second rate wannabe.

I agree with your thinking. The MAAC conference is a second rate basketball conference. (Although I believe this years tourney is in Trenton, which is worse than Jersey City. Do you think any fair weather fans will attend?) Fairfield University administration, alumni, fans and especially students are also second rate in regards to supporting the Stags. Attendance averages, as noted elsewhere on this board, could fill Alumni Hall!!!! This program doesn't deserve the Arena.......yet.....

I also think the player introductions are embarassing, as others do. Just a little overkill with 20% of the arena filled.
