No excuses. Merrimack barely beat Canisius, which may be the worst team in the country. I saw Niagara battle Michigan State for 21 minutes, even lead that game in the 1st half, and only trailed by 4 points early in the 2nd half of that game. And that was an away game. That was ugly! I only made it to half-time and headed to dinner. This team is poor. There is no offensive scheme. Every team that plays them should press and use a zone defense. NU is powerless to respond. Maybe 3-5 more wins. The rest are losses. Then everyone will leave in portal and we can start all over again. I’m amazed at the inability to penetrate the zone the last two games. Both Merrimack and Siena were poor teams. The portal has ruined college basketball. The MAAC is a shadow of itself.
