He is now raising young kids in his family. He is from CNY so he has extended family nearby. He has been an assistant coach at 3 other programs and must realize the job insecurity of that position . (The head coach gets fired and you most likely lose yours. ) He represents NU very well so he has little pressure. The AD at Niagara has been in the job for over 10+ years, transitioning from an FCS school to Niagara and sticking around ever since. Working at NU is a cushy position, not just in athletics. There's virtually no pressure, with only a small number of people genuinely interested in the sports program. The operation runs on a bare-bones basis.
