In fact, it's worse losing by 26 after playing such a competitive and close game. It makes it looks like NU was never in it to anyone seeing that score for the first time.

Flow of game doesnt matter in the end. Final score matters to evaluate. Playing about even at half and losing by 26 is tantamount to being down by 26 at half and "only" losing by 26 in the end.
