Well, I haven't been here in awhile, since I last re-re-re-re-re-posted "If Rose had Lived". Which I am currently revising, actually.
But this little piece is something my thoughts just wandered on today, and there's a little story behind it.
This was just a gag chapter written for my first project on the ROC, which was on the DAB OOC board. (That's actually the first use DAB's OOC board had, serving as a place to hold my project.) It was basically a pass-along-story, based on Mattimeo's life, which I called "Mattimeo's Story". (Duh.) I got some people who hung around DAB then to sign up for chapters. Some of them were me, Watson, Torleep, Ferdy, Gumble, and there were a couple others, I think. (Didn't Gumble (is that even her name?) have a sister?)
Credit to the entire idea goes to Ferdy, the same Ferdy who helped maintain DAB when it was leader-less. Credit for the character Thaflon goes to Watson Manycoats.
I remember after reading this, I thought it was the most brilliant thing in the world, and immediately printed it out, but that was almost EXACTLY two years ago, (because the chapter was posted around April Fools Day) and over the course of that two years, I seem to have lost it. Which sucks. So I re-wrote it, to what I can remember. I'll be posting it in a sec, it's going to be in a reply.
