Emily was off somewhere again - he couldn't keep it all straight - so he was actually hanging out at his place, directly below her when his phone rang. He answered with slightly furrowed brows - not because he didn't want to talk to whoever was calling, but because he was quite engrossed in his video games, and the ringing meant that he had to pause things. Pause he did though, and then reached out from where he was slouched into his couch for his cell phone on the coffee table - not exerting any more energy than absolutely necessary.
