He was quiet for a moment following that as he thought over her words and her reasoning before sighing softly. "Sweetie, you know I want to help you... I just don't know what I could say to him. I'm not exactly the poster child for good health and clean living..." He wasn't outright refusing her though, he was just thinking things through. He didn't want to get in the middle of their relationship, but he hated hearing her so stressed out, and he also didn't want to see something happen to his friend.
