Asking the followers of any spiritual teaching if it produces results is not a good way of determining the effectiveness of that system. Some followers of any teaching will claim to have achieved some results. This may be partly due to a type of spiritual placebo effect, and it may be partly due to certain peoples desire to appear better than others.
At the same time I have heard from many honest Kriya Yogi's that they have noticed no benefits from Kriya even after several years of effort. That does not mean that Kriya is ineffective.
If a yoga system is effective then we should expect the results to be in accordance with the experiences of other genuine yogi's and the accepted scriptures.
