 ~*~*you reached the cavern a short time later, after feeling the presence of several more Desert Guardians coming and going around you. it was more or less how you remembered it- the pools of water seperated by small bands of rock that stuck up over the surface, and the thousands upon thousands of small glowing insects that lined the walls like christmas lights. the only difference was that there was what looked like a miniature volcano standing in the middle of the largest pool. you climbed down into it, noting that there was no water inside. when you reached the bottom, you were more or less in an underground forest. you were walking, quite content, towards the door when you fealt something wrap around your ankle. you looked down and noticed a small vine had snagged on you. you brushed it away without a second thought, and went on your way. a few moments later, there were two more. then another- and another, until you could not possible fight them all off. you watched as they swiped your weapons and all of your carried possessions- and then continued to wrap around you. at this rate, you would not be able to move after a few seconds.*~*~
