I know some people are going to be very emotional about Anya's nonplacement. I actually feel peace about the entire situation. Our girl did a fantastic job and we can only praise her for such fantastic representation. Let's keep the positive messages coming as I know Anya must be devastated because she so wanted to make T&T proud.

On an aside, when Peter Elias gets back home they (the pageant company) really need to get together and discuss what went wrong (hint: gown and walk) apart from the fact that based on the semifinalist it is obvious that only a latina or USA will win. As C has said before, since Trump took over and started choosing 5-6 of the semifinalists it is almost like every other year we have a latina winner-good business for Trump but as I have said before T&T will not benefit from these business picks. We are too tiny islands that Mr. Trump cannot consistently benefit financially from.

Based on the slate of semifinalists, I have concluded the crown will go to a latina or USA based on the fact that any of the ladies who could realistically cause an unexpected upset are missing-Korea who is the catwalk diva, T&T and India (who would have obviously changed her EG for the final).

...and she literally lost it by holding the front of her gown-and the scores reflected it.

I was trying to post previously but for some strange reason the page to the forum was not loading for a while.

As I said before, PE&A can no longer think that they are going to get what they deserve from MU anymore. Our girl can and will be bumped from the semifinals for financially savy choices.

Who will it be...Columbia, Mexico or Venezuela?

I still don't see it with Spain-enough for a top 15 spot but she is not that beautiful at all.

Ok Miss USA fell...AGAIN! and worst...I think they're cursed and why...hmm cheating probably? But this was very embarrassing and seemingly hurtful...well they bombed Vietnam right? Their policies against Mexico are horrible! So....Anyway yes Trini 77 we need to get ready for next year....COLOMBIA or VENEZUELA has it!

My opinion:
Best answer: Mexico
2nd DR
3. Russia (but did she listen properly to the question)
4. Columbia (why did you not use a translator?)and Venezuela (did MV even think before she opened her mouth)

Only 3 who could win--> Mexico, DR with Columbia (who won the SS and EG segments)-->one of these 3 is MU2008.

Now let's hope PE&A crown the new MT&TU in November 2008. What we all need to take from this year's pageant is that none of us know everything-not even Peter Elias himself. I am pretty sure that Anya's white gown would have been top 5 for the final but she was just lost in it for the prelims. We need to have 2 gowns if we are going to do something out of the norm-Period!

THE MIGHTY DOLLAR PREVAILS HERE AND IT TIME FOR PE&A TO MOVE AHEAD TO START SENDING DELEGATES TO THE OTHER INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS AND STOP WASTING VALUABLE TIME AND RESOURCES WITH MISS UNIVERSE. MISS INTERNATIONAL, MISS EARTH, AND MISS WORLD ARE ALL PAGEANTS I FEEL WE STAND A BETTER, "FAIR" CHANCE TO AT LEAST BE IN THE TOP 15 RUNNING FOR THE TITLE. Did not see that coming from a mile away-well Ines got 2 MU right in a row and again this year's winner shows us that beauty will always prevail against brains at MU. Mexico-5th was a big shock but then the Donald has expressed his disgust with the illegal Mexicans b/4 and they did boo MUSA last year-talk about a bi*ch slap to them in 2008-I am pretty sure Mr. Trump Jr.'s votes were a contributing factor. Soon enough we will have a male version of Julia Morley at MU.
