yes i do realize this is a business . that is why he should bring the track to the racers standards. this will get people to come and race.if he ask or wait on others to come and do this track prep for him then you will still be in same shape, the racer will come help once or twice and then call it quits. that is because the owner will see he can get you there and take your money also on race day. i am sure art knew what he was in for when he reopened the track. this man is not going to open to lose money. and all tracks will go up on price to get in. i know what it cost to race for a hobby. i was a sponsor on a dirt track car plus pit member and we spent anywhere from 500-1500 to race per month on easy monthes not tearing up our equip. that is why i have changed to drag so i can see my car in good health unless i tear it upmyself.the money is not a problem my problem is if you are going to run a track run a good one for the racer. just like we do we want to race so we buy or build good race cars and trucks. so i feel it is up to him to provide the track surface to see us run on his track. that is why i pay at the gate. not trying to be a prude just feel this way. later hoghead
