One of Team Doucets Old cars was playing today

This car went mid 8s in 99 when an old NMCA racer had his high dollar Buick headed small block in it...the car was sold to a jigalo in mississippi...soon after the car kissed the wall at hattisgurg..

Well jigalo had to have the car that was setting the 10.5w racing scene on fire...He bought the beast from bill doucet and we took the boo on trade...(needed a front clip)..
we sold the boo to glen clues..bill built a oval port headed 477 for the car and the car went low 10s on motor..
well a small plate was put on it and it yeided some 9 teens...clues sold the car to some guys from rayne recently and the car now has been painted...

on there 3rd pass today they were back in the ballpark where they left off...

the track is still got all the same bumps...a whole lot of more bruises though..

the club will hold races at eunice on the 1st sat of each month like before the storm but since there is concern for the amount of track prep that is done the club will take volunters to help prep the track on our race day only..

all races for spots will be done at the latest part of the day due to the heat....i am working with a lighting contractor to get some lights donated for night racing so that it will be better for the racers and spectators also.

once a spot is taken i feal if that spot holder feels he/she cant "let the power loose" out there they can name the place to hold a race for there spot..

this is not a ruling just my opinions...

cars from the high ten second range and up were not having troubles today...

where the problem will lye is the small tire stock suspenion cars...these guys are putting alot of power down and need to be on a sticky track or they are at a disadvantage...
