This is interesting. Yesterday, I get a phone call from Turbo Mike's shop and it's Big Wiggle. Through all of the laughter in the background, I recognize Bryan, the Bryan from Lake Providence w/ the triple-staged, 522," 1st generation Camaro. He says he's looking for a race for money and has his car on a trailer outside Turbo Mike's shop.
I explain to him that the man to beat is sitting behind him. (Turbo Mike)
I explain to him that I'm unavailable because my TH-400 is in Baton Rouge receiving upgrades. He says he'll call back during the weekend.
I talk to Big Wiggle the next day and he says, "Bryan offered Wayne and Turbo Mike a rolling 15 car lead and they cowered!" I can't believe that someone wouldn't take that kind of a handicap. I think that I'd take that challenge driving my pump gas street car w/o nitrous. Anybody else?
Anyway, the challenger, Bryan of Lake Providence, has brought his toy back to Lake Providence for now.
These are the fun races for I know that he's got a mid 8 sec car, at least it used to be, when running a two-stage.
