When the storm clouds the sky, the twins both scramble for the wall, eyes wide and dark. Tayo bumps into Zaniel in his scramble and murmurs an apology before plastering himself to the wall, eyes on the Chirrs. His fingers feel against the wall for the small crags, and he watches as each Chirr goes to a lifepartner, muscles in the back of his neck gripping each time they go. He nearly misses the pair of rusted golden eyes that meet his, but cannot miss the incredible mental arrest he is thrown into when Reve captures his heart and soul. Tayo kneels and throws an arm around the young Chirr in absolute ecstasy. "And I am your Qyne Reve, we'll always play together." He dives into the mental bond with the youngest Chirr and they both drift into giddy, dizzy sleep.

Taunia watches each Bonding with the same leap in her throat, her fists clenching involuntarily. When it is all said and done with, she smiles tenderly at her brother and his Bonded, fast asleep and peaceful in their entwined state. She kneels beside Tayo with her serene smile and runs a hand through his hair before taking from around her neck a thin strand of riverstone. She threads it around his neck and takes in the scene a minute, her eyes saying farewell to the friends she had shared. She gives another graceful bow to Redevance and then a final parting kiss to the top of Tayo's head. "Goodbye, my brother. I will not be far, and may perhaps find the glory that you have. Remember me until then." With that, she gives a last wave and walks from the cave, her connection with Tayo replaced.
