Subject: *B*O*N*D*I*N*G*

The bright sky outside shifts to a black mass of storm within seconds. At the first flash of lightning the large black Niyia turns her head to the entrance of the Den. As the thunder crashes loudly moments later seven small pairs of ears perk, Redevance roars with the thunder and Tazki mumbles quietly to herself... It is time... Golden eyes of the Mother flash as strong voice and swift paw summon all to their proper places, "Qyne's, against the wall... NOW!"
Thunder Roars
The first to move is the eldest chirr. She is silent as her black form moves across the Den, pausing only once to shake her golden mane and then continuing... directly to Mele. "I am Ombre. You are my Bonded Mele!"
Thunder Roars
Next goes the light tan male. Prized jewel left behind, he heads now to it's owner. "Sathran, I am Bois. You are my lifemate."
Thunder Roars
Now the dark tan male moves from his position. Claws clicking against the floor as he walks through the silence, his silver eyes meet Slerin's, "We are lifemates now Slerin... I am Chocolat."
Thunder Roars
Following her brothers and sister comes the youngest femme. Her dark red fur ripples as she walks calmly to her lifemate, "Tais? I am Sixieme. We have Bonded!"
Thunder Roars
The smallest of the litter stands now. Energy withheld for only a moment he shakes with excitemnt searching for his lifemate. Bright eyes dart back and forth along the wall, until, with a burst of speed, the small chirr runs to the feet of his chosen Qyne, "Tayo? Guess what! We're lifemates now! My name's Reve!"
Thunder Roars
Now the Red and Gold chirr steps forward. She knows many seek to be her lifemate, and unfortunately she can only choose one of them. She walks to each Qyne that had shown her kindness, giving a nuzzle of thanks... but never makes eye contact. For her golden eyes are reserved only for Zaniel, and infront of this Qyne she stops. "Zaniel? I am Lumiere. You are my Bonded and lifemate."
Thunder Roars
The Last chirr to Bond steps through the darkness. Shining golden eyes constrasted with a pale silver mane look along the row of Qyne's against the wall. Though never truly wanted until the day before Bonding, there was only one who had ever shown the grey chirr the compassion he had longed for, so he lopes over to Maeko, "I am Tonnerre Maeko. We are Bonded!"
And Thunder Roars for the last time...

The Black and Gold Mother watches the pairs now with calm, loving eyes. Tazki leans back against the black Niyia, her green eyes watching their own quiet memories.
