She starts to rub the red-gold chirr again, but her mind is not focused on the action. Instead, her thoughts are more in the direction of bonding. What if she didn't bond? Would she bond with the chirr that had captured her heart, the golden-red femme? Or would she get a totally unfamiliar chirr, or none at all? Her stomach squeezes into a knot of worry and anxiousness. She feels like someone is squeezing the air out of her, she can't breathe properly with the nervous fear inside of herself. Her red ears twitch, and she stares at Maeko, her eyes wide. "I'm so nervous, I can hardly move! What if I don't bond? What if neither of us bonds with the red-gold femme? What if one of us does? How will the other feel?" She sighs to herself and thinks sadly that it will be Maeko who bonds with the chirr, most likely at least. She was quite sure of it. She squeezes her eyes shut, and whispers "What will happen? This is nerve-wracking, I hate waiting." She peeks out of one eye to quickly count the people in the den, immediately groans, squeezing her eyes shut again. "Ten people. Three will walk away unbonded. I sure hope we aren't in those three."
