Cindy & Chris, I agree with your statements that this mess started long before the Springer show made it's debut; but, people go to arbitration for one reason only..to avoid a trial and all that it entails. The fact that Springers people want arbitration tells me that it is going to result in a big money settlement and they want some control over the amount. Think back to the JJ debacle; Amedure and Schmitz (sp) knew each other before the show ever was taped, needless to say, and it was Amedure who contacted the show. Do you think anybody would have been killed had it not been for the show? I don't. Further, I doubt anyone would have been killed had it not been for the appearance on JS. Putting your dirty laundry out in the public venue is a recipe for disaster. I hear your logic, but there is no logic in this situation. I'll bet you a trip to Michigan that this ends up in money damages. Remember what the Judge said? Now,go and find a non-biased jury to come to the conclusion that the JS show had "no fault". You have a trashy show host; a convicted murderer; a murderers wife who was in on the whole sham - and a "poor, unfortunate, woman" who died as a result. Add to that the poor, unfortunate, womans "devastated" family and you've got big bucks. Betcha!!!
