but the tear gas and pepper spray has not long term effects on people, providing they arent allergic to it, which the cops cant be expected to know if they are or not, Ive been through that whole deal in court where we pepper maced a girl who was allergic and she almost died, her defense lawyer tried to make us out as the bad ones and we should have asked her if she was allergic before spraying her, but the judge laughed that defense out of the court room, but seriously pepper mace is a cops best friend now, I LOVE that stuff it makes our job so much easier than having to fight with batons and such, the only times I have ever seen tear gas used is in riot control situations or hostage situations we dont just drive around and tear gas everyone we dont like on the streets, even though theres a lot of people on the streets that deserve it, the rules concerning the military and police are remarkably different as well. In a sense we are at war every nite when we go out on the streets, we dont know whats in the car we stopped, we dont know whats in the building we are going in, we dont know whats in the guys pockets we are talking too, I dont know too many military personel who walk around every day with a level 3A bulletproof vest, an automatic pistol on their side as well as another concealed pistol somewhere else do you?
