Adam cringes, leering down at his feet. "Please, Storm, I want to stay, but..."
But I'm just a wimp. Under all the muscles and brawn and dashing looks, I'm just a scared, little boy. One who's never fallen in love without being heartbroken, a little kid who's mind is so simple to baffle anyone can play him.
"I'm just a guard!" he yelps, earning startled glances from a few random people in the lounge. "I'm stupid, dense, and I trust people too easily!"
