She's always said that she never wanted to do television and that before she started TXF, stage was her real love. If she really loves what she is doing now on stage in London and she really enjoys having the time to spend with her daughter and future husband (she just took a year off of work), then she probably isn't too eager to jump back into The X-Files. DD says he's finally starting to miss it, but GA didn't have that same time as him. Also, if I were Gillian I'd be reluctant to do anything for TXF powers that be since they essentially screwed her over in my opinion. They made her sign longer contracts to get the same money as DD, and in the last few seasons of the show they took a strong willed intelligent woman and turned her into a teary eyed, sappy wuss. That offended me as a viewer and as a woman and I hope that Gillian felt the same way.

I'd like to see a new movie and I'm sure it would be pretty good. But I wouldn't blame Gillian Anderson one bit if she never again played Scully.
