Since I wasn't a regular watcher of XF during its last two seasons on TV, I'll take your word for it that they destroyed Scully's character. Actually, you're not the first person to mention this.
I don't really buy the idea of a prequel. DD's an attractive man, but he's in his mid-40s and if they did a prequel Mulder would have to be in his late 20s; no way he could pull that off.
Know who I'd like to see in the movie? Jimmy and Yves! (Um. . .they *are* still alive, right? CC went on such a killing spree during the last couple of seasons that it's hard to remember who is and isn't dead. Of course, people "die" so frequently in XF, only to come back to life a couple of years later, that I suppose it doesn't really matter.) Also, I want to see Skinner. I didn't really mention that in my previous post, because I just felt it was kind of implied.
