Subject: Do you think there will really be more XF movies?

I'm beginning to have my doubts that there will ever be a second (or third, or fourth) XF movie.
GA is off in London and seemed more than just a little bit relieved to put her "Scully years" behind her. CC hasn't been heard from since the series ended. Oddly enough, DD is the only one of the "big three" who continues to express enthusiasm for keeping Mulder and Scully alive on the big screen; but he certainly is keeping busy with other projects, and his family, so I doubt he would really "push" for another XF movie if nobody else was interested.
Quite frankly, I wonder if the studio would be willing to finance it, too. It was one thing to do the first movie, when the show was a critically acclaimed Top 20 TV show, but the ratings bogged down pretty badly in the final season and they might figure there wouldn't be much of an audience for it. And they might be right. If they film it, I will watch. . .eventually. But I doubt I'd go to the first showing on the first day the movie is released, the way I did with "Fight the Future". I might even wait until it's released on video.
To be bluntly honest, the one thing that *would* get me into the theater sometime during its first week would be a full-blown R-rated love scene between Mulder and Scully. (oh, heck, I'll call a spade a spade: what I mean is a *sex* scene) However, even among my fellow shippers I seem to be in the minority in wanting that, so I doubt we'd see it.
