they would just let GA leave the show after this season and "save" her and DD for future X-Files movies. The final scene of the season finale was the *PERFECT* ending for the classic, Mulder-and-Scully years of XF!!
If they *must* keep XF on the air as a TV show, I wish they would just let Dogsbreath and Annoying Smiling Agent go it alone, with maybe some help from Skinner and the Lone Gunmen. If they feel a need to consult an experienced X-File agent, they can always call Arthur Dales.
