hatch out in the cabbage patch, now did he! Since most of us don't know what the movie is about, it's difficult to really comment in any sort of intelligent manner on the movie itself and the importance of a bedroom scene. However, just what is so wrong with a tastefully done bedroom scene anyhow!!! It does't have to include any sort of X rated sort of activities. I doubt that many if any of the younger generations will be there after this long. Most of the fans have to be young adults and much older (like me,LOL) who will attend. I say that it would be great if they would make us shippers happy!

As for any sort of romantic involvement, what can one expect after 7 years of a single man and a single woman working together. I really don't believe that was the reason the show ended. DD said that they ran out of stories and I suspect that was a big part of it. Also, I think the writers and actors just got bored with the series--much to our dismay. I can't say that any the actors from the show have had a stellar career after XFiles. Yes they have been working, but not in anything as big as XFiles. I haven't found the Lone Gunmen on anything, CSM was in a small role on a show, Crychek has been in a few things, Mitch Pileggi was on Stargate Atlantis and of course DD and GA have had their various other roles. Not much to write home about I would say.

Yes, nothing good on TV lasts forever but if Gunsmoke can last for 20 odd years, why couldn't XFiles go a bit longer.
