Subject: Just wanna clear something up.

Um, down the threads a bit there is talk about the bedroom scene in the new movie of XF. Some people are talking as though we are still in the friendship stage of the MSR. I think we have already established that they are actually lovers now. Not just that they had a child a few years ago but we've had a few real kisses, comfort scenes, the courtroom acknowledgement that they were lovers and had a love child. Perhaps DD was talking about an actual sex scene, which is something I certainly don't need to see. But a bedroom scene to show what we all know has been happening for the last 5 yrs[is it? ] wouldn't hurt anyone. I can't believe DD said that the romance/baby killed the show.I thought the baby was a natural progression because they made such a huge fuss about Scully's abduction [S2] and barrenness. It made sense to have her get pregnant and let us wonder about where that baby came from. WE still did not have any acknowledgement about their actual relationship apart from a few looks and extra familiarity. And DD was the one who campaigned for a proper kiss at the end of the ep where William was born. They were going to do another forehead kiss but he said they needed a proper one. What killed the show was him leaving, the big-headed boof that he is. I don't think showing that M and S are on together will do damage to the movie..........it's like I was saying in another post about shippering ruling TV [and movies] these days. DD needs to stop worrying about the MSR and start worrying about how to make himself look good whilst running around like a 20 yr old when he's amost joined the blue rinse brigade. After all, he's no Harrison Ford.
