Subject: So is there going to be a 9th season or not?

I haven't heard the official word yet but I've heard everything from no season 9 to yes season 9 with barely any David to yes season 9 with David in it about the same as this year (which would be fine with me!). I really hope it goes one more year nd David can be convinced to be in a few episodes because GA is signed on for Season 9 already so we may as well have a few more eps with Mulder and Scully. Plus I like Doggett and I think he needs a chance to shine and RP shoudn't feel like it's his fault if the show ends after he came on board!

As you all may know I am pro Season 9 and I am now worried because of Sundays ratings. It did pretty poorly. Only in the 12 million range and that is less viewers than for some of the Doggett episodes! What's wrong with people?! How could they not want to see Mulder back in an episode?! What if Fox is waiting to see how these last few eps do and if the ratings aren't high enough they decide to end it? Or what if David is thinking, "Gee, I guess they don't care about Mulder as much as I thought so I might as well split." Then if there is a Season 9 it would be without Mulder. Stupid people! Why aren't they watching him? :-(

We may go from having 2 XF oriented shows on TV (The Lone Gunmen is also in trouble) to none! Waaaah!
