Interesting point about her being happy about being able to join in the believing fun with Mulder. I wouldn't want this all the time though. I like when they're sparring. The furniture bit was fun. Just one step away from picking out china patterns together? ;-)

I don't know if Scully worries about Mulder going looney. She went through the worst of it in Biogenesis. When she gets these calls from Skinner ("Agent Scully I think you'd better check on your partner AGAIN!") I think she just takes it in stride and probably knows Mulder's just off on some wacky tangent about something. Maybe she thinks Skinner overreacts. I'm sure she worries about Mulder but she's so used to him being not exactly normal that she won't panic needlessly until she gets the full story. I bet she didn 't tell Skinner about her invisible corspe! Skinner would be worried about both of them then!

I saw part of Steel Magnolias when it was playing at the theater I workd at at the time. I never saw the whole thing but I think it was a real tearjerker because one of the characters dies. (Hope I didn't just spoil it for anyone!). But bascially you got it when you said it was a chick flick. I think that's all the significance there is to its usage here, as a contrast to Caddyshack being a guy film. My ex-boss, who could be classified as a sterotypical guy right down the line as far as his tastes go used to quote lines from Caddyshack!
Vince Gilligan explains in the background info over at the Official site about his chosing Caddyshack because of a conversation he had with his girlfriend.

Yes they were might cosey in that couch scene and no doubt got into some extracurricular activities after the movie was over! If they even bothered to watch until the end of the movie, that is! Do you suppose Mulder had ulterior motives in inviting Scully over?
**********REQUIEM SPOILER FOLLOWS***If you haven't seen it yet don't read the rest of this post! Stardoe you can read, you already know!

*I know everyone's debating about their first time, whether it was in 'all things' or earlier and we may never know for sure on that. But CC keeps bringing up all things in reference to the pregnancy however my favorite scenario would be that she got pregnant right after the couch scene at the end of Je Souhaite. I just like the idea! :-)
