Subject: I second Chantal's choice and here's more recommendations CW...
In reply to: CW 's message, "I did watch Dark Angel--I missed the premiere but l taped" on 13:51:56 10/12/00 Thu

It's funny you say there's nothing on CW because I've actually been watching a lot of the new shows!
I've been doing a lot of taping. For some reason I've found more to watch than in past years.

I really liked ED too. It comes from the former writer/producer of David Letterman (who also wrote a scene for the pilot) and you can see it in the style.

Another new show I liked is CSI (Crime Scene Investigation). It's on Fridays on CBS. If you like the pathology aspect of the X-Files cases you might like this. Imagine if Agent Pendrell and his co-workers in the lab had their own series, to give you an idea. A warning though. In dealing with forensics and crime stuff it does get fairly graphic. But I found it interesting.

I also liked Bette Midler's new show but I guess that all comes down to whether you like her or not since it's mainly all about her.

AND...if you get the Fox Family Channel I strongly urge you to watch Freaks and Geeks on Tuesday nights. Two eps a night.

And for laughs, Whose Line is it Anyway? on Thursdays! I went to two more live tapings of that last month. So much fun! :-)

Did anyone watch Freaky Links? I have heard that one main reason Fox wouldn't let The X-Files go is because they didn't have a new hit drama to replace it. I guess Freaky Links and maybe Dark Angel are their attempts at getting the XF audience this year.

Freaky Links wasn't bad but it'll never be another X-Files...no Mulder and Scully!
