Maybe the Krycek one fell through because Nic just wasn't available. If they push for a season 8 that would be a perfect opportunity to develop the Krycek character more.

CC probably nixed number two because it was too shippy and not enough "litle boy" style action was involved. The closest we've gotten recently to M&S having a real good dialog about things was in All Things--of course we didn't see most of it but it was implied that they had talked for several hours. I've been asking to see an actual ep where they spend the WHOLE hour just talking for about the past year and a half! Why won't CC listen to me!?

I bet DD could write something really clever. A one hour two person dialog between M&S. I'm thinking along the similar lines of Hawkeye Pierce's monologue in that MASH epsode where all he did was talk for the whole thing about a variety of topics.
