Hi duck,
I feel exactly the same way you do about Closure. I just think maybe CC wanted to give us a bit of mystery with Mrs M's actions seeing as he was telling us what happened to Samantha. I don't understand why she didn't wait either. Or why she burnt the pics. I didn't dislike her but she was kind of weird. I still think *they * killed her if not directily. I think her cancer may have been caused in the same way as Scully's. I did wonder if Scully looked for a chip in the autopsy.

The starlight music really got to me. I thought the last scene was just wonderful. It was nice to see Amber Lyn there and I take it the little boy leading Mulder around was the psychic's son. I thought it was really nice that Mulder at least got to find out about Samantha and that he has the diary to tell him stuff about her life without him. That was very generous of CC. But I agree this is the best, if not, one of the best XF eps so far and the best scene. I assume you will get the video over there as do we. [same video system]I am just waiting for it to come into the shops. Can't wait to own a store bought copy. I thought it was very moving. Normally I really get emotionally involved in a book or movie or TV show but I usually watch XF in a detatched, analytical way. However, this ep really moved me. All hail CC![for the moment anyway :-)]
