I love the made up stuff. That's what I like to do.....fill in the gaps with wild speculation and assumptions.

I get really annoyed with CC killing off vital people who we need to know more about and who know more about the myth. I certainly hope Mrs M kept a diary and Mulder can find it one day.

Now I don't want to take away any of the feeling for the last scene. [Starlight children] But when Sam ran up to Mulder and hugged him and looked lovingly and excitedly into his eyes I couldn't help thinking that the girl playing her was a rabid DD groupy and didn't really have to do much acting there. Now forget what I said and go back to feeling sentimental about the scene.

We only saw Amber Lyn at the end in the starlight. She was the first kid to stand and look at Mulder. It is a nice thought, the Starlight thing, isn't it? It makes one think that maybe children who die as babies like still birth or cot death are taken by the walkins to the Starlight to maybe save them from something that would have happened to them in their lives. I guess it is just another coping mechanism and a nice one at that. I think if one wants to be totally realistic and a true Scullyist then one could say that the whole starlight/walkins thing is just that, a coping mechanism....for Mulder/the parents etc. I'd like to think it was real.
