"But I didn't even enter! I didn't pay the entry fee! How could I win?" kande whines.

"What could possibly be bitchier than to win without even entering!?" counters Stardoe.

Kande thinks for a minute. "Well, you got me there." She rubs her chin thoughtfully. "I guess the only thing left to do is have a victory celebration."

"Mm-hmm." Stardoe stopped listening a couple of minutes ago and is now deeply engrossed in IG's latest addition to the NC-17 series.

Kande gives a wave and heads back to the klub on her bicycle. She takes a detour by chasing a dog, then a cat with a cast on one of its legs. It's not long before she's bored with this and goes directly to the klub. Of course, along the way she throws rotten tomatoes at city hall and paints graffiti hither and yon.

Entering the klub, she gives a girly scream. "Bubba! What are you doing with my sister's underwear on your head?"

Bubba gestures that he bought the huge things at KS's yard sale because he thought they belonged to kande.

"Oh, piffle." Kande pulls on a rubber glove and gingerly removes the yards of well-worn cotton from Bubba's head. She points to the waistband. "See? Mom sewed sis's name in her underwear because she was forever losing it. You don't want to hear that story! Ha ha!" Kande gives a shiver at the memory.

Bubba shakes his head and points to the waistband, which says "Kande".

"No, no. Look closer." Kande shows Bubba where her sister had removed "'s Sis" from the band. Bubba slaps his forehead and nods, acknowledging his error. Then he realizes that he's had these things on his head for hours! He runs from the room to scrub his head.

Kande takes a seat and starts working on the menu for her victory celebration. "Hmm. We'll have pop-tarts and diet root beer and..."
