That's what I'm feeling. Everywhere I look there is coverage and talk and songs and it's starting to drive me crazy.

I listen to WHFS all day at work and they started playing this song today. A remix of Porceline by Moby, with segments of Bush's speech, firefighters, reporters. The first time I heard it I just started crying right at work. The second time it made me sad. By the tenth time it had no affect. I don't WANT to be unaffected. I think too much media coverage and sensationalism does that. Tonight my friend and I stopped by a bar for a drink to relax and get away from it for an hour, and there up on the screen with closed captioning was Larry King interviewing families of missing people. IT'S JUST TOO MUCH EMOTION! I feel sort of bad saying that, but it's true. I NEED to get back to my life. I feel so selfish for it. I know that there are others who are going through so much more trauma than me, I can't imagine the emotional roller coaster they are on considering my own, but I wonder WHEN will I feel normal again?
