Something new I noticed in Orison (shippy)

Ever since it was confirmed that Mulder anmd Scully did consummate their relationship I'm still trying to figure out when it might have started. (Sorry noromos! I still love ya! ;-) )

I've been watching a bit of the season 7 eps which FX has been running lately to see if I notice anything different now that we have a new, confirmed perspective and I picked up something in Orison.

Remember at the very end when the police were at Scully's apartment after the shooting? Mulder was in the hall taking to them and then we see Scully go into her bedroom and shut the door. Mulder sees her and excuses himself. He walks right into her bedroom without knocking. Scully was still wearing the pajamas she had on before with a blanket around her. Who knows if she wasn't going in there to change clothes. We know they were going to leave her apartment soon to go elsehere. Where we aren't sure but I woud assume Scully would get dressed before leaving.

Don't you think Mulder would have knocked first to see if she wanted him there? Instead he waltzed right in like it was perfectly natural for him to be there. Now maybe it was just meant to show something close but completely platonic between them especially considering the grave circumstances of what Scully had just been through. But it also could be a sign that things started up pre-Orison and Scully having Mulder in her bedroom was not a new concept at that time.
Not that just having him in her bedroom means anything anyway considering what they've been through together all these years but..oh, you know what I mean!
