He goes to the fridge and pulls out a large cake. Shaped like a Colt 45 and decorated with M&M's made to look like bullets.

"I specifially said a NON VIOLENT CAKE" the Mayor glares at kande. Bubba wearing a wicked smile begins to giggle as the Mayor screams at kande. He loves getting her into trouble. What the mayor forgets to acknowledge is that is is the Mayor who is against violent cakes, he knows KS will think the gun is much to small.

"Don't worry Mayor, the entertainment and the rest of the food will make up for it. We have all your favorites, Purdy's chocolates, pickled asperagus and sour apple martinis." Kande tries to suck up.

"Martini's....what is this 'sex in the city'?, we are an XF based town. Root beer and Iced tea, both of which can contain alcohol if required. Get it right!"

"Yes ma'am....." kande bows out of the room, giving Bubba a evil eye as she passes him. He puts the cake back into the fridge then sticks his long green slimy tongue out at kande.

The Mayor claps her hands together, "okay people, WE have worked hard for today, WE have put together a great party that I know KS will love. I am thinking I will be in the centre of the room when she arrives so she can thank me first"

CW clears her throat and places her knitting needles on her lap, "With all due respect Mayor, you just got here. It was Bubba, IG, Detoured, Old Smokey (don't know why just thought of him today....wishing he would come back home)and myself did all the work. Kande complained a lot, and you, well all you have done is walk in"

"and what else am I required to do?" the mayor raises her eyebrows and glares at CW, counting the fines in her head that she is going to collect from this loose lipped bunch.

Realizing her comments will cost her dearly, CW tries to fix it, "And you walked in just great, didn't she people,,,,lets hear it for the Mayor" she begins to clap and soon others join in.

Suddenly the doors fly open and Detoured slides into the room, her legs tangled in her cape. "I'm okay" she says as she rushes to her feet. The crowd stops clapping.

"Quick everyone, in your places.....KS, is on her way."

The mayor snorts, "Quick my butt, the woman is 45 today, she will be a while yet."

The crowd continues working on the decorations slowly, knowing KS's legs are not what they used to be.

Kenamom, wishing KS a wonderful, happy marvoulous Birthday and if she doesn't get what she wants.......go out and buy it yourself. You are worth it!!!!
