kande and KS gasp, "oh no, its another birthday" kande moans. "do you think she will make us wear those stupid hats again?" KS whispers.

"Hats, silly t's and bamboo thongs for your feet." the Mayor hops excitedly over to the cowering sisters and plops paper hats on them. Kande's is bright pink with silver stars hanging down in her eyes. She blows the stars out of her face and bursts into laughter as she spies her sister. KS's hat is tall and, judging by the way she is holding her neck, very heavy. It was cone shaped and changed color everytime she moved. First a mauve, then it changed to deep red, then to a dark brown.

"Happy Birthday Mayor" CW smiles. Always the mayors favorite the mayor places a bright red crown knit together from fine silk. CW smiles, "whats the problem sisters, my hat is perfect"

THe mayor continues around the room, handing out hats. When she is done she takes her seat on the throne and smiles.

"Where are my presents?"
