KS faints from loss of blood. The mystery man leaves her to her fate and goes off with Sydney. KS is revived by Aunt Madge waving smelling salts beneath her nose.

"Oomph," KS mouths at her. Aunt Madge has bandaged both KS's hands, which gives her an idea. She would have shared the idea with Aunt Madge, but unfortunately the orthodontist had inserted a small torture device in the roof of KS's mouth which has been poking her tongue. Her tongue is swollen and bruised. She looks like she's been licking beaters when the mixer was on. She sounds like it too.

"Oomph right back at ya," Aunt Madge tells her, giving the gauze around KS's hands an extra tug. Honestly, she's spent half her week bandaging one person or another. And did any single one of them say 'thank you?' Noooo. Rude people. Well, KS might have said thank you, but right now she's a little difficult to understand. Aunt Madge reaches in KS's mouth and pulls out the metal torture device.

"Ow." KS says clearly and distinctly. Her tongue lolls to the side of her mouth. She pats it gingerly with one bandaged hand and struggles to get up. Finally, seeing that Aunt Madge isn't going to help her, she crawls out of the court room.

Crawling the length of the block to the Klub, KS finally manages to roll her way over to the bar. Bubba hands her a diet rootbeer which she holds between both bandaged hands and quenches her sore mouth. Stardoe is just giving Kande some bad news.

"We've decided not to keep you on as sole juror."

"What? But the trial was just getting interesting!"

Stardoe scratches her head. The Mayor pretends to be busy looking through her purse. Everyone else takes a large step back away from Kande. Kande watches this suspiciously.

"It's just that...you're not a very good juror."

Kande's mouth drops open. "How can you say that? I was there on time, I listened to the opening arguments, I picked up your gavel when you dropped it."

"I'm sorry Kande." Stardoe shrugs her shoulders. "Maybe next time."

Just then a piercing shriek is heard. CW, in her haste to get away from Kande the bad juror, has stepped on KS's tongue as it lolls out of her mouth. A lawsuit is immediately filed.
